I have added a temperature and humidity sensors these have been modified, they are mounted off the circuit board , and converted them into probe type sensors the humidity Sensor has a cotton Tube over the humidity sensor element, this has proven to increase the performance and the accuracy of the humidity Sensor these sensors were calibrated using a Sheathed ordinary Hygrometer . Met Office pattern (BS692).

My first weather station was an Oregon scientific wireless model WMR928NX the manufacturers have stopped production on this model and now offering a WMR200 - Next Generation Weather Station as a replacement, I decided to go for a Proffessional 1 wire weather station system.
The following sensors were supplied by Hobby Boards ( Power injector,solar radiation sensor, barometer, out door temperature/humidity, Leaf wet sensor, soil moisture module using a Watermark sensor (granular matrix sensor), concrete temperature sensor, soil temperature sensor@2 inches, rain gauge, snow sensor using a hobby board humidity module connected to a LV-MaxSonar®-EZ™ Sensor, Cloud sensor mod using a temperature sensor, Dual Counter mod rain switch connected to a Rain Tracker Rain Gage - Model RG-10, the wind instruments were supplied by Inspeed and connected to a hobby board Anemometer Controller Board, rain duration sensor is a humidity module which is connected to a sensing plate
There are several traditional instruments which we use for calibration purposes, we have lightning radar system which detects storms over Europe, we are also monitoring earthquakes around the world using a HS-3 SEISMOMETER, to keep our weather station time clock accurate we use a GPS system which synchronises the weather computer.
