User Guide
1. Quick Start
Enter Data:
Input your Date, Reference, and Sample details in the Blue "Current Batch" section.
Test:
Perform your 3 tests (Start, +Time Lapse, +Time Lapse) and enter the degrees.
Save:
Click
"Add to Log"
to save the entry.
Clear:
Press "Clear / New" to wipe the form.
2. Comparison Mode (Red vs Blue)
The system compares
Red (Baseline)
against
Blue (Current Batch)
.
How to set Baseline:
A. Load from the "Saved Baselines Library" (Yellow box).
B. OR scroll to a card in the Log Book and click
Set as Baseline
.
Analysis:
The "Test Summary" box will calculate the average difference. The graphs show the profile.
3. Important Notes
Measurement:
This Viscometer measures the
over swing
of the Bob in degrees.
Consistency:
Always use the same Wire, Bob Size, and Temperature when comparing samples.
Thixotropy:
Use the "Time/Shear Profile" to see if the fluid thickens over time (Thixotropic) or thins.
