The Screen Calipers have a unique advantage over other on screen rulers due to their unique shape. Pixel-perfect accuracy is ensured every time simply by aligning the Screen Caliper's ruler points around an object. The Calipers can be used with any programme as they float over other applications allowing quick and easy measurements.
Over several years I have used different graphic programmes and printed circuit board CAD programmes , one my favourite is CorelDRAW suit X13. My favourite circuit board design package is an educational programme called Circuit Wizard, this is very easy to use for basic circuits. In these programmes I have found that I needed some sort of measuring device other than the traditional rulers and graph paper, something I can ues in any software programme, this is where screen measurement pack comes in to it's own.
The pack consists of a screen caliper, screen protractor , and the screen compass, you can buy these individually. You can calibrate any of the instruments to what ever measurement you're working in, my favourite screen capture programme called snagit version 10 this will capture anything on the computer screen, it works perfectly with the screen measuring tools.
