Hobby board humidity module
Battery box holds 3 / 1.5v AA batteries
The hobby board humidity module already had a humidity chip sensor mounted on the board,I remove this by desoldering the connection points,
Weather display software has a setting where you can add a snow sensor.

The LV- MaxSonar-EZ
Mounting the sensor, I drilled a hole to allow the MaxSonar to be pushed through, I put an O-ring on the inside and on the outside to form a seal , I then glued a cap to shield the sensor element.
Hobby board humidity module
The LV-MaxSonar®-EZ™ Sensor needs a positive and negative connection from the battery box. The {AN} connection goes to the hobby board Humidity module soldered to the centre connection where the removed humidity chip used to be, on the innermost connection a
ground wire is soldered to the negative battery box.
The snow sensor will be mounted 1,025 cm above ground
