The humidity Sensor on the Oregon weather station deteriorates over time I found

a replacement component even though the specifications say it goes to 90% humidity

when testing it goes to 98% exactly the same spec as in the manual..

The replacement looks more substantial, it is housed in a black plastic case it was very

easy to replace all I did was to carefully desolder the old component off the circuit board,

then solder in the new component. Testing after reassembly I took a very damp cloth and

loosely wrapped it around plastic sensor, assembly within approximately 5 minutes.

The reading on the display was 98%.
