Weather-above has gone live with our new HS-3 SEISMOMETER { thank you Rockwave }
we received our first earthquake data from an event that occurred in the Xizang-Qinghai border region Magnitude 5.5 Then followed by another in the same region M 5.6 ,

The first software programme we use is called Mission control this is where we set up the comport and levelling the instrument.
After we had set up the instrument using mission control, we then moved to AmaSeis this is where we can monitor and extract data.
We are using winquake software,there are many tools in this programme file conversions,
creating sound files from an event.

HS-3 SEISMOMETER has the ability to record the earth tilt, to do this we need to run a small programme that was supplied by Rockwave , this was programmed using BBC BASIC , we encountered a problem we need it to run two programmes both need the data from one comport , to solve this problem we are using the serial splitter this solved the problem.
